Houjicha Latte
Japanese roasted green tea for latte
Ingredients
- 4 g houjicha powder (Article No: 0064834)
- 30 ml water
- 150 ml milk (or milk alternative)
- 1/2 tsp sugar (or agave syrup)
- To decorate:
- Vanilla paste or Houjicha syrup
- Houjicha powder
- Standard whipped cream can also be used
The Houjicha Latte is the perfect latte with tea.
Preparation
First put the sifted houjicha powder and the sugar in a cup. Pour 30 ml of boiling water over it and stir until the houjicha powder is dissolved. Now heat the milk and froth it in a cup and then slowly add the houjicha tea.
Houjicha powder can easily be ground in a coffee grinder/kitchen machine or with a mortar.
