- Glass: thick-walled tumbler or glass cup with handle
A centuries-old recipe in Scotland. The drink tastes good as a winter cocktail and is therefore the perfect alternative to mulled wine. But "Hot Toddy" is also a popular remedy for colds and coughs. No matter what it is used for, it is always delicious!
Preparation
Add the cloves to the glass. Add whisky, lemon juice and honey. Top up with 200 ml of brewed Rooibos Hot Toddy. Stir with a spoon until the honey has completely dissolved. Add the cinnamon stick and lemon slice to the glass.
Tip: If the drink does not taste sweet enough, add a little more honey. If it lacks a little acidity, simply add a squeeze of lemon juice.
